CALLING SOUTH ASIAN DANCERS, ACTORS AND SINGERS FOR COMPANY ROLES

Come Fall in Love - The DDLJ Musical bursts onto the UK stage in Summer 2025, based on the hit romantic-comedy film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Cultures collide in this stage musical adaptation of one of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, directed by the original film director Aditya Chopra with book and lyrics by Nell Benjamin (Mean Girls, Legally Blonde), choreography by Rob Ashford (Frozen, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) and Shruti Merchant, and set to the exuberant beat of 18 new English songs written especially for the stage by Indian music sensations Vishal and Sheykhar.

• Age range: 18-40 years
• Performers from South Asian backgrounds of all genders
• Strong dance skills ideally with experience in Bollywood and Musical Theatre
• Strong singing skills ideally with experience in musical theatre
• Strong acting skills

Auditions will be held by invitation in the week commencing Monday 13th January 2025.

Successful applicants will begin rehearsals in London on 14th April 2025, with rehearsals and performances at the Manchester Opera House from 19th May 2025 until 21st June 2025.

Please note that you must have a valid UK passport or already have a full working visa to work in the UK for the duration of the contract before applying, and all applicants must be 18 or over by April 7th 2025.
